My first semester of seminary (Spring 2006) a great friend nearing graduation described the experience as a time when God digs up all of the foundation you have built in life so that He can rip up the roots below and start building all over again from scratch. I'm further realizing that the rebuilding process may not involve a foundation at all, but rather many anchor points like a spider web, or perhaps something more dynamic like the momentum that keeps the earth on axis with no foundation. This journal is a place I have chosen to explore that process. All of us are "Reflections of Something" in this world. The question is, are we reflecting something that truly matters when all is said and done.
